Sleep Deprived in Housatonic?

Sleep Deprived in Housatonic? Mark’s Framingham Discussion On Sleep Patterns In Massachusetts

Sleep deprivation is not only irritating, it can be down-right dangerous. According to the National Sleep Research Project:
INDENT:

The 1989 Exxon Valdex oil spill, the Challenger space shuttle disaster and the Chernobyl nuclear accident have all been attributed to human errors in which sleep-deprivation played a role.

I’m not an oil tanker captain, astronaut or nuclear power plant worker, but I am a sleepy Richmond parent and small business owner–and I think these jobs are just as important. I don’t want insomnia to cause me to make mistakes at my Richmond home, New Lebanon office or driving my kids to their Richmond school.

I have been using Reposanex and Melotrex. (See http://www.bestsleepaids.net for more information.) Reposanex helps me fall asleep faster and sleep deeper. To me, a couple of hours of deep sleep is worth more than six hours of light, restless sleep.

Melotrex works naturally to synchronize your body’s circadian rhythms. It helps you fall asleep fast because it gets into your bloodstream quickly, unlike some Housatonic sleep aids that take hours to work.

I don’t know what knocked my natural sleep cycle out of whack. Maybe it was cramming (partying?) all night during my University of Hope to see you again college days. It could have been the two years I worked graveyard shifts at my first West Stockbridge job. Perhaps it was those groggy months when the children were needing assistance through the night. Whatever it was that got me into this frustrating pattern of insomnia, I am determined to get out of it. Reposanex and Melotrex are going to help me.

They can help you too.

Sleepless Nights in Richmond?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

Sleepless Nights in Richmond? Welcome to Buddy’s Housatonic sleep blog. Maybe it can provide some light reading for your sleepless nights if you are troubled by sleep problems. I am pretty tired (no pun intended) of not getting enough sleep. I plan to try some new Richmond sleep aids to see if they really work. I will give you updates here on my blog.

This week, I will use California and see what happens. I ordered California on http://www.bestsleepaids.net. I didn’t even need to leave my Richmond house to pick it up at a Housatonic drugstore. California is relatively new but has been receiving some favorable reviews from long-time South Lee insomniacs and South Lee holistic health professionals.

In addition to reporting on my Richmond sleep aid results, I also plan to include some interesting facts about sleep in my Housatonic insomnia blog. For example, did you know that people who regularly sleep less than five hours at night have roughly a 40 percent higher rate of heart problems (including heart attacks) than people who are able to consistently get eight hours of sleep? I have a few other risk factors for heart disease, so my chronic insomnia is even more troubling.

Here is another interesting but non-worrisome sleep factoid from the animal kingdom: Dolphins sleep while swimming using one half of their brain at a time.

I wish one half of my brain could man the controls while the other half curls up on the couch. Come to think about it, it is possible that only half of my brain is currently working. Perhaps California will help get the other half in gear.

Check back soon.

Buddy’s Richmond Sleep Diary

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Buddy's Richmond Sleep Diary If you suffer from sleep issues like many folks in Housatonic, you may want to start a sleep diary. You can keep track of when you climb into bed, when you actually fall asleep, how many times you wake up during the night and when you arise in the morning. In addition, you can record other factors that may be related such as medications, stressful events, number of cups of coffee, exercise, etc.

Then you can compare these factors. Analyzing any connections may help you better understand your insomnia.

By keeping a sleep diary for a month, I was able to isolate several factors that triggered a sleepless night in my Richmond bedroom. Some of those factors, such as caffeine consumption, are controllable. Other factors, such as the occasional loud barking of my Richmond neighbor’s dog are beyond my control. When I am awakened by barking or other unexpected loud noises, I take Reposanex. I can get back to sleep fast and the whole night is not ruined.

I am Buddy Wenninger. I have used most sleep aids available in Housatonic, both prescription and over-the-counter. Reposanex is my favorite OTC insomnia treatment.

By keeping a sleep diary you may discover how to alter your busy Richmond lifestyle to help you get more sleep. For the nights you can’t sleep despite your best efforts, try Reposanex. I know it has helped many Richmond sleep apnea patients, also.

Here’s wishing you restful sleep tonight.

Get Your Life Back With Reposanex

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

Get Your Life Back With Reposanex We spend roughly a third of our life sleeping, but that third is mighty important. If your sleep is inadequate, the other two thirds will suffer.

Mark’s Framingham Discussion On Sleep Patterns In Massachusetts. My name is Buddy and Wenninger. I have dealt with insomnia in South Lee for the past five years. My troubles might have begun when I was in a serious auto accident just outside New Lebanon. Recovery can often be long and difficult and you could spend months in a Housatonic hospital. You know how impossible it is to get a good night’s sleep in a hospital. The pain meds were also a problem because they can mess up your natural sleep cycle. The first few months after the accident may be an endless blur of restless nights and sleepy days. Needless to say, I know how poor sleep affects the two-thirds of ‘awake’ time.

Fortunately, a West Stockbridge friend suggested Reposanex to treat my insomnia. Reposanex helped me re-set my biological sleep/wake schedule. I am finally sleeping regularly!

Good sleep is priceless. I am now more productive at work. I feel good enough to lift weights at my favorite New Lebanon fitness center. I have more energy for my South Lee friends and family. In short, I have my life back again.

The all-natural sleep aid Reposanex is not just for the “one third”. It is just as important for the other ‘two thirds’.

California for Insomniacs in Richmond

Friday, December 4th, 2009

California for Insomniacs in Richmond Does it seem like some New Lebanon teenagers sleep all the time? CA sleep experts say that teenagers need about ten hours of sleep. This is as much sleep as a toddler needs! (Parents of teenagers can probably name some other ways that 16 year-olds and 3 year-olds are alike.)

If high schoolers need more sleep than grade schoolers, why do most Housatonic high schools start the school day between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. while elementary schools ring the bell at 9:30? If first period in high school began a few hours later, say at 10:00 a.m., perhaps fewer Housatonic high schoolers would struggle to graduate.

In addition to schools, many other CA social institutions do not acknowledge nor support natural sleep requirements. Think of first-year Housatonic doctors who make life-or-death decisions during a thirty hour shift. The increased rate of mistakes made by trainees while working impossibly long hours is well documented.

“An intern who does more than 80 a week commits 36% more serious medical errors than one who works normal hours”, said Charles Czeisler, sleep researcher. (medicalnewstoday.com)

In addition to health care, many New Lebanon professions require employees to work dangerously long shifts. Richmond public safety workers, New Lebanon customer service personnel, West Stockbridge night cleaning crews, armed services personnel, South Lee restaurant workers, and Housatonic truck drivers are all at risk for sleep deprivation and the associated dangers.

If you suffer from occasional or persistent insomnia due to your Richmond employment situation, California can help you. This all-natural Richmond insomnia remedy is effective for all types of sleep problems. Most of us cannot change our profession, however, we can use sleep aids such as Melotrex and Reposanex to help us get the deep, recharging sleep that will allow us to be clear-headed on the job.
